Everyone yearns to have a beautiful smile. It makes you feel beautiful inside and out, and gives a big boost to your self-confidence. It gives you a chance to take on the world and do everything you have always wanted to!
At Irresistible Smiles, we want to give you this confidence with teeth bonding services. This is why we choose a combination of procedures to correct your broken or missing teeth, so that you can flash you smile to the world all through the day.
One such procedure that we do is cosmetic bonding and teeth re-contouring. Both of these are simple procedures that can be done within the shortest possible time.
Cosmetic bonding is a procedure where a durable plastic material called resin is applied on the teeth and is hardened with a special light. As a result, the resin is bonded with the teeth to restore or improve your smile. Since this resin is similar to the color of you tooth, it looks natural and beautiful.
At Irresistible Smiles, our chief dentist, Dr. Safarian, recommends cosmetic bonding in the following situations:
At Irresistible Smiles, Dr. Safarian takes utmost care to protect your teeth. This is why he talks it out with you and makes you understand the need for this procedure.
When you are to start the process, we will schedule an appointment for you. There is little to no preparation needed for this procedure, as this is one of the simplest ones in the world of dentistry. No anesthesia is required for cosmetic bonding unless it is used specifically to fill a tooth cavity.
The first step is to identify you teeth color and match it with a composite resin color so that your teeth look natural at the end of the procedure. Once this is identified, the surface of the teeth will be roughened to make it conducive to take the process. A conditioning gel is then applied to help the resin bond to the teeth well. The resin is then fixed on the tooth and a UV light is applied to harden the resin material to the tooth. The resin is finally trimmed to match your teeth size. The entire procedure takes about 30 to 60 minutes per tooth.
